Menomonie - Contact the church office for location

Can I set limits and still be a loving person?

What are legitimate boundaries?

What if someone is upset or hurt by my boundaries?

How do I answer someone who wants my time, love, energy, or money?

Aren't boundaries selfish?

Why do I feel guilty or afraid when I consider setting boundaries?*

Do you find yourself asking questions like these? Come and learn about setting healthy boundaries in this 9 week class facilitated by Judy Abel!

  • WHO: Everyone is welcome, not just people from Branches!
  • BOOKS: Boundaries: When to say Yes, How to say No to Take Control of Your Life by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend. Purchase both the reading book & workbook (not the "Participant's Guide") from an online retailer like Amazon or from a local bookseller.
  • PARENTS: Childcare not provided.

*Questions taken from the book's description.

Dinner & Discussion... and a bit of Rummikub

Wednesdays, October 3 - December 12 (not meeting Halloween, Deer Hunting, or Thanksgiving weeks)

This group is hosted by Jeff and Sandy Ericksen near Boyceville, WI. Dinner is provided by the Ericksens and discussion to follow on Matthew 11:28-30: “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me – watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” - Jesus

Rummikub to follow after discussion.

This group has room for 6-8 people and any age or marital status is welcome. Freewill donation childcare provided. No homework. Good food.

Contact the church office to sign up or for more information!

Groups for Men

Wednesdays | 6:30pm - 8:00pm at the church office

Correction: This group lead by Norm Anderson and Tom Wendt will be finishing their study on the Holy Spirit this fall and plan to go through the book The Great Divorce by C.S. Lewis starting in January. Feel free to join them even if you have not been a part of the group before!

"C.S. Lewis’ The Great Divorce is a classic Christian allegorical tale about a bus ride from hell to heaven. An extraordinary meditation upon good and evil, grace and judgment, Lewis’s revolutionary idea in the The Great Divorce is that the gates of Hell are locked from the inside. Using his extraordinary descriptive powers, Lewis’ The Great Divorce will change the way we think about good and evil." - taken from

This is a group that meets once a month and also stays connected with texts, messages, and emails throughout the week.

Serving Opportunities (Adults and/or Families)

Coffee Grove:

By serving coffee and snacks on Sunday mornings, Branches seeks to create a welcoming and inviting atmosphere.  Contact the church office to learn more.

This group seeks out opportunities to engage in community events, serve local organizations, and raise awareness of Branches Church.  You can be a part of the group just for a specific project or long term. Contact the church office with your questions or interest.

Other Serving Opportunities:

Although technically not considered "growth rings", we have other opportunities to serve such as helping to set up/tear down our meeting space on Sunday mornings, running the sound equipment, helping greet others, volunteering with children or teens, and providing meals to those in need.  Contact the church office to learn more.
